  • At Duck River Garden Company, we believe access to gardening knowledge and support should not depend on financial situation. That’s why we offer sliding scale options designed to meet people where they are, including reduced-cost and free support when needed.

We especially prioritize working with disabled individuals, elderly community members, parents, and anyone navigating financial or physical barriers that make traditional services harder to access. Whether you are looking to learn, get guidance, or simply need a little help getting started, we welcome you to reach out. To get started, scroll to the bottom of this page and leave us a message with your name, location, what you need help with, your budget range, and whether you’re interested in virtual or in-person support—or if you’re still figuring it out, that’s okay too.

No one should be excluded from growing, learning, or connecting with their space because of cost.

Everyone Deserves a Place to Grow

Our sliding scale is designed to help make gardening education and consulting more accessible to the people and communities we care about.

This may include:

  • Individuals and families navigating financial hardship

  • Parents and caregivers

  • Older adults

  • People with disabilities or chronic health conditions

  • Students and young adults

  • Teachers and educators

  • Community groups and nonprofits

  • Anyone who is excited to learn but concerned about cost

Duck River Garden Company was built on the belief that gardening should be accessible to everyone. Whether you're planting your first tomato, adapting a garden to meet changing physical needs, building a pollinator habitat, or simply looking for a way to reconnect with the natural world, we're here to help.

Many of our classes and consulting services are available on a sliding scale, and we are often able to offer reduced-cost or free opportunities when cost would otherwise be a barrier. If you'd like to learn but aren't sure you can afford it, please reach out.

No judgment. No complicated process. Just a conversation.
